The Yeager Ranch is located about 9 miles north of town mid way up the Elk river. This stretch of the Elk river provides a very peaceful fishing experience with very easy walking and river access. With many deep pools, large riffles and river structures the Yeager Ranch provides anglers with a variety of different water to fish. Anglers can find themselves fishing dries, nymphs and streamers successfully all in the same day. The large hay fields and shale walls provide great terrestrial fishing during the warm summer months and the large riffles provide very prolific caddis hatches.
