A float trip on the lower Yampa can be a great option for beginner and experienced anglers alike. Our float trips are for 1 or 2 people. The float season on the lower Yampa can be a short window while the water is high enough to get drift boats through the shallow riffles. Most years we like to float from late May till mid July, however, this can change depending on runoff. Our float trips use put ins and take outs on our various sections of the river depending on what is fishing best. Please call the shop for additional information on our float trips.
