The Ball Ranch is located a short 10-minute drive west of Steamboat on the Yampa River. This is a smaller stretch, ideally suited for 1-2 people, but the fishing there can be incredible. Deep runs, good riffles, and the potential for big fish are all there. So, if you only have a half-day and want to see what the Yampa has to offer, this is a great place to start!
