Born and raised in the trout mecca of Ohio, Matt is one of our senior guides. Well known for his dry wit, fly fishing expertise, and dirty pants, Matt is one of our most requested guides. Whether it is an adventure floating on the “trout ship” (Matts beloved drift boat) or wading our fine rivers, you can be assured that you will be entertained on the river, while potentially catching fish or two. During the winters Matt is the head of avalanche control at the ski area, and enjoys camping, hunting and fishing with his family and cats.
