Travis developed a reverence for the outdoors as a youngster while exploring the trout streams of northern New Mexico with a fly rod in hand. While pursuing a degree in photojournalism, he was lucky enough to live in a number of mountain towns in the Rockies, including Sun Valley, ID and Jackson Hole, WY. After exploring much of the pristine trout country of the American West, Travis decided to make the Yampa Valley his home where he has guided fly fishing since 2011. In addition to working as a guide on his home waters, Travis runs his own photography business specializing in family and wedding photography. Spend a day with Travis and you may be in danger of becoming an angler and outdoorsman yourself.
